Headdress of Papua New Guinea
Amua Whare Cultural Study:
Amua Whare adopted a country of study. The country we chose was Papua New Guinea. We investigated the traditional headdress and the celebrations and festivals that are held in Papua New Guinea.
These are our own headdress we designed and created.
Hi Amua Whare,
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed looking at the pictures of your headresses. They are lovely and colourful. How long did it take you to make the headresses?
What materials did you use? I think my class would like to make headresses too.
Keep up the great learning,

What a fascinating Inquiry topic. I lived in Papua New Guinea for five years and my eldest daughter is a Papua New Guinean. We have some lovely colourful grass skirts from PNG. The head dresses made of bird feathers are my favourites.
